Try the urban herding sensation that’s sweeping the nation!! Treibball is a class designed to teach dogs to herd a ‘flock’ of balls, rather than sheep. This class is perfect for any dog of any size or breed that has a lot of energy and is task oriented. Dogs must be able to work safely away from their handler, understand the basic mechanisms of obedience & training, and are non-aggressive towards other dogs/humans. Dogs will be taught many control positions and cues that can be carried over to herding livestock of any nature. In addition; this class will be an excellent course for those people interested in the art of clicker training and shaping precise behaviors. It will be a wonderful opportunity for those owners and handlers looking to give their dog’s mental and physical exercise.

For older puppies/younger dogs who have not had prior formal training. Beginners Plus++

This package deal is for anyone interested in accelerating the beginners training process. Whether you have a dog who needs additional help with fear or aggression, or you would just like to get a jump start on training…this is the ideal way to get started. The process begins with an approximately 2-hour long Private Consultation with one of the Certified Professional Dog Trainers at Paws N’ Claws Academy. During those two hours, we will cover any questions and concerns you have with your dog, introduce obedience cues, and will lay a solid foundation for day-to-day life with your canine friend. After that, you will begin 5 weeks of Group Class to sophisticate and refine the knowledge received in your private consultation; as well as learn new cues and tricks that are designed to build confidence, instill basic manners, and increase the overall performance of your dog.
